Sadly, lots of the companies listed below are no longer around.
Many have closed their doors and are unlikely never to reopen them.
Back in the 90’s and early 2000’s, manufacturing share of the British economy was a lot higher than what it is today.
From vacuum cleaners to tennis balls, everything was manufactured. Demand for special purpose machinery
across all manufacturing sectors was high.
As a result, it was common practice to be working on several different projects at the same time for several
different clients.
From writing PLC software, electrical design, feasibility studies, machine refurbish, fault diagnosis, software
modifications, scheduled routine maintenance, process improvements, preparing quotations, customer
training and support, all automation disciplines were provided.
